    7. Short Biography I am a Namibian and have got more than 13 years’ experience in distance education, particular in the area of Materials Development and Instructional Design. I have been the Head of the Materials Development and Instructional Design Department at CES for 6 years, i.e. from 2002 – 2007. I have also been an academic tutor on the MADE (Masters in Distance Education) programme with IGNOU (Indira Ghandi National Open University) in New Delhi, India. Furthermore, I have been a writer on the BA (ODL) programme at UNISA, developing 1st, 2nd & 3rd materials in the Materials Development courses. I have also assisted COLL (Centre for Open and Lifelong Learning) at the Polytechnic of Namibia with instructional design on their distance education courses.
