Capital projects
The University of Namibia’s major capital projects that the foundation has played a major role in sourcing funds for include; the School of Medicine, the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, and the Science Research Laboratories.
Commercial ventures
Under this category, UNAM Foundation specifically looks at commercial ventures that are of mutual benefit to the University and the private sector. These include the establishment of businesses on campus, awarding tenders for the supply of food and goods to the University community, and the rental of university facilities amongst others.
Infrastructural Projects
Embarking upon critical infrastructure related projects aimed at developing and expanding existing university facilities, with the aim of promoting quality education and meeting demands associated with anticipated future growth of the institution. The foundation actively seeks strategic partnerships with the private and public sectors, as well as NGO’s to help it realize its goals.
