The IMMU Mission The IMMU was established at the University of Namibia to meet the needs of the University community by supplying up-to-date equipment and services for the presentation and production of multimedia materials. We strive to assist staff in delivering up-to-date, high quality teaching by providing a wide range of technical solutions for audio visual and multimedia delivery systems across the University. Key responsibilities The IMMU offers an extensive range of multimedia presentation and production equipments, as well as a selection of venues that can be used for presentations and videoconferencing. University staff members are hereby invited to contact the IMMU if they require equipments and venues for lectures, seminars, workshops etc. Equipment The IMMU offers a variety of multimedia services, including the digitization of materials (photos, text, audio and video), assistance with PowerPoint presentations, Web Page design, CD-Rom production, etc. Venues The IMMU also takes bookings for venues including the auditorium, multimedia classroom and the Interactive Multimedia Room. The Interactive Multimedia Room is fully equipped with a multimedia PC, large screen projection facilities and video conferencing equipments.
