I have 10 years of experience teaching Englishand am involved in Language Assessment (Team Leader: ESL – NSSC) at various levels in the Education sector. I have delivered papers at various conferences focusing on the importance of cognitive-academic language proficiency. I am involved in various academic activities in the department, e.g. material development, coordinating courses and writing units. I am passionate about equipping students with the language skills they need to excel at a university. One of my goals is to instil a culture of reading in our students.
