Biography in brief
Joyce Auala completed her Bachelor of Honors degree in microbiology at the University of Namibia in 2011. She is currently registered for her Masters by thesis as a postgraduate research fellow in the Science, Technology and Innovation Division. She is a part of the Malaria Research Team working on a collaboration between UNAM, University of California at San Francisco Global Health Group, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and the Ministry of Health and Social Services, that involves documenting the epidemiology of malaria in northern Namibia’s Engela district to determine local or cross-border transmission of malaria
