Biography in brief
Sylvia obtained her Bachelor of Science honor’s degree in Microbiology and Biochemistry from the University of Namibia in May 2011. During her final year of undergraduate study, she worked for one year, as a laboratory demonstrator at Department of Chemistry and biochemistry. After completion of her undergraduate studies, she was an intern at the Central Veterinary laboratory in Windhoek. She subsequently received a Post graduate research fellowship from The Multi-disciplinary Research Centre at the University of Namibia. Currently she is pursuing a full time Master of Science by research at the University of Namibia.
