| Biography in brief
Werner is a graduate of the University Of Namibia with a Bachelor of Science Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (Honors) in 2012. Currently as a Postgraduate research fellow with Multidisciplinary Research Center (MRC) doing masters degree in Biochemistry (2012) at the University Of Namibia. With research topic looking at Oshikundu Biochemistry and Microbiology. The main focus of the research is looking at food Biochemistry and Microbiology; nutritional value, essential microorganism responsible for fermentation and spoilage of Oshikundu.
Werner joined MRC in 2010 as a student intern with Science and Technology division (STD) under Indigenous Knowledge System Tradition (IKST) food program, which he is involved in the drafting of an article “In-Vitro Antioxidant activities of Namibian Indigenous fruit; Eembe (Berchemia discolor) Extract.”
Co-supervision
Acting in co-supervision to final year project students (Department of chemistry and Biochemistry) with Mineral analysis.
