Dr Kaurivi was born, received primary and secondary education in Namibia. He i is a vigilant and excellent worker who has ability to work alone and in a team. He is the Head of Department of Crop Science, Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of Namibia. He worked for the Department of Crop Science in the last 11 years and has led in Faculty Committees and spearheaded various missions in a competent and reliable manner. He is trained in Soil, Water and Environmental Science with minor in Remote Sensing and Spatial Analysis. His research includes land use planning, pasture production and reclamation of degraded rangelands. He supervised many under graduate research and is currently supervising master’s students in rangeland and environmental sciences.
