Elizabeth is a Namibian with over 8 years of teaching experience at high schools, College and then at the University of Namibia. She is a lecturer in the department of Integrated Environmental Sciences, offering several BSc courses in Integrated Environmental Sciences and also Diploma courses in Natural Resource Management fields.

She has been involved in African Network for Agriculture, Agroforestry and Natural Resources Education (ANAFE) activities for the past 6 years. She is a member of the steering committee for Southern Africa Regional Agriculture, Agroforestry and Natural Resources Education Network (SA-RAFT).

Researching on Aloe zebrina Baker (Ekundu) in Namibia and Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) region.

Interested in Genetic diversity studies – AFLP, RAPD, SSR, SNPs Molecular marker techniques; Environment protection and Integrated Natural Resource Management; Propagation and domestication of indigenous species; Socio-economic importance of indigenous species; Networking and collaborating with stakeholders as well as with potential institutions at national and international level.

Promoter of domestication and propagation of Aloe zebrina Baker (Ekundu) in Namibia (2007) initiated community outreach programme for local communities interested in farming with the species and continues supporting this initiative. 

Namibia National Agricultural Forum for Training (Namib-NAFT) (15-16 June 2005) spearheaded the launching of Namib-NAFT national network and continues facilitating ANAFE activities in Namibia.
