Mr Samundengu has over eleven years of work experience that covers both academic area and industrial area. The industrial experience includes over four years work in engineering management and plant maintenance in agro processing environment. He has been involved in teaching undergraduate courses in the fields of food technology, food engineering as well as agricultural engineering. He has been engaged in several research and consultancy efforts mainly targeted at promotion of value addition in Namibia as well as enhancing market linkages, food safety practice and association development in the meat, seafood and poultry sectors of Namibia.
