The 1st International Conference on Accounting and Finance is being organized by the department of Accounting, Auditing and Income Tax.

The largest department at UNAM, Department of Accounting, Auditing & Income Tax is serving the nation by training Namibians in areas of accounting, finance, auditing and taxation. Apart from several undergraduate programs the department offers a Post Graduate Diploma in Internal Auditing and a Masters in Accounting & Finance.

Faculty of Economics & Management Sciences: comprises of four departments, namely Accounting, Auditing & Income Tax, Economics, Management Sciences and Political & administrative studies. In addition to these departments the faculty has a centre for public service training.

University of Namibia (UNAM): established in 1992, UNAM is the only University of Namibia, located in capital city Windhoek. The university includes 8 faculties namely agriculture & natural resources, economic & management sciences, education, humanities & social science,  law,  medical & health science, Engineering and science faculty .
