I worked as an internal auditor (Zimbabwe) from 1994 to 1998. I supervised junior auditors. When I came to Namibia I started lecturing in 1999 at Polytechnic. I lectured Financial accounting 1, Business Accounting. In 2000 I also lectured Auditing and Cost and Management Accounting 1. I worked for Polytechnic till 2007. During that time I was also involved in training. I trained practical auditing, forensic auditing and financial management.
I was lecturing part time at Unam. I lectured Auditing 1 and 2, Financial Accounting. I was employed by Unam in 2008.
I am currently enrolled as a Phd candidate with NUST. My research is on Change management. I intend carrying out this research at Unam. The research will be a case study kind of where I seek to understand how change is effected. This will involve those who initiate change and those who see it operating on the ground or the implementers involved.
An evaluation of how change affects or meets challenges in terms of acceptance will be my main interest.
I intend to present a paper in the upcoming conference by the department of Accounting, Auditing and Income Tax. |
