7. Short Biography (maximum 150 words)	Mr. Thomas is a Namibian with over eighteen years of combined experience in the banking, non-banking supervisory, airline, and education sectors in Namibia. He was involved in the supervision of non-banking financial institutions in the country (1995-1998) in various capacities spanning from Principal to Chief Financial Institutions Controller. In the airline sector he headed several departments such as Market Research, Marketing & Sales, Cargo, as well as Management Accounting (1998-2003). He has since then been lecturing primarily Business Statistics, Basic Business Mathematics, Strategic Management (Post-graduate), and Financial Management (Ad Hoc) at the University of Namibia. He also served as an Alternate Member of the Public Accounts and Auditors Board. He is currently a lecturer in the Department of Accounting.
