7. Short Biography (maximum 150 words)	I taught at the primary phase for 2, then 5 years at the secondary level and 14 years at college level. I have the following tertiary qualifications: B.A. and H.E.D from Unam; B. ED from UNISA (South Africa) and M.ED from the University of Umea, Sweden. Currently I am pursuing a second M. ED degree with UNISA specializing in Curriculum Studies. I hope to finish it by the end of the year. I have attended a number of educational conferences both in Namibia and outside. For example, in 2009 I presented a paper at a National Conference in Walvis Bay in the Erongo Region. I also attended an International African Educators Conference at Jilin University in the People’s Republic of China in 2005. My areas of interest are curriculum issues and research. My hopes are making friends, travelling and reading. I am married and a father of 5 children.

I have been selected to represent Katima Mulilo Campus on the Research Committee of the University of Namibia.
