Dr. Brunette is a Namibian with over twenty years of experience in the education sector in Namibia. He has been involved in teacher education for the past 16 years. Dr. Brunette is a lecturer in Educational Foundation subjects such as Comparative Education, Sociology of Education and Educational Management, and also offers relevant M. Ed and Ph. D courses. He has been involved in the assessment and evaluation of both the general education sector as well as tertiary education through NIED, NAMAS, the Polytechnic of Namibia and the BETD-INSET among others. He has been involved in both academic and technical/vocational education throughout Namibia.

Consultancy Projects:

Polytechnic Instructors Training Project (June 2008) investigated the viability and relevance of training on vocational instructors.

Namibia-Norway Organisation (NAMAS) (March 2004), facilitator of a Technical Education Conference held at Ongwediva to establish the needs of Technical schools in Northern Namibia.

NAMAS (April 2004), evaluated the training processes at the Opuwa Community Skills Development Centre (COSDEC).

NAMAS (February 2003), evaluated the schools offering Technical Education subjects in Northern Namibia.
