Dr. Iijambo is a Namibian with over twenty years experience in the education sector both in Namibia and worldwide. At the University of Namibia, he has been involved in foundations courses for the last six years. Dr. Iijambo is a lecturer in the department of Educational Foundations and Management who offers Diploma, Masters and Ph. D. courses on Comparative and International Education, Philosophy of Education, and Effective Leadership in Schools respectively. He has been and continues to be involved in the assessment and evaluation of both Ph. D. And Masers research students.  
Dr. Iijambo’s Ph. D. Dissertation is titled State, Region, Ethnicity and Educational Inequalities in Postcolonial Namibia.  While the master’s thesis is titled, National Unity and Curriculum Policy in Namibia.

Presented the above mentioned paper by Ashton, et. al. at  the annual Boleswana Botswana, Lesotho, Swaziland and Namibia Conference in Lesotho, Roma in 2007.
