Dr. Mushaandja is a holder of a B.Ed, M.Ed and PhD. His M. Ed thesis is titled: The Effect of School Inspection on the Quality of Education in the Ondangwa Educational Regions of Namibia. His PhD thesis is titled: Investigating the Professional development of Secondary school Principals in Namibia. His area of specilisation is Educational Management.  Dr Mushaandja has been in the teaching profession for over twenty years. He was a secondary school teacher, school principal, and an education officer in the Ministry of Education. Currently he teaches courses in Educational Management, Research Methodology, and Gender Studies.
