Ms. Beukes-Amiss is a Namibian with over 14 years of experience in teaching at the University of Namibia. Three years of experience as Head of Department, and currently enrolled for a PhD in Computer-integrated Education through the University of Pretoria.
She is particularly passionate about eLearning capacity-building activities through the use of open source software packages, and serves on the Namibian Open Learning Network Trust (NOLNet) eLearning Committee as Coordinator of eLearning activities within the entire country. She is certified as ICDL trainer and Expert of New Learning Technologies through TeleAkademia of Furtwagen University in Germany. She is also appointed as the country’s Eminent e-Content Expert through the World Summit Award (WSA) |
