Mr Pereko is a South African and has directed the University of Namibia choir (UNAM Choir) for the past eleven years. Under the leadership of Mr. Pereko the UNAM choir is now the most active youth choir in Namibia. The choir performs regularly at UNAM functions and on invitation by various companies and ministries. The choir has travelled extensively locally and abroad to participate in international competitions and festivals.
