7. Short Biography

Mr. Simon Lumbu attended his primary and secondary education in Khomas Region. From 2008 to 2009 he was a Tutor at the Language Centre, where he also served as art-time Lecturer for French. He also taught intensive French courses to Employees of Total Group Angola at the Franco-Namibian Cultural Centre (FNCC). He completed a Bachelor of Education Degree at the University of Namibia in 2010. Shortly thereafter he was employed as an English-French teacher at Concordia College where he taught at ordinary and higher levels of the NSSC curriculum. He joined the University of Namibia in September 2010.

He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Education: Literacy and Learning at the University of Namibia.
