He has 25 years of lecturing in sociology at tertiary level, since 1998 at UNAM, previously at the University of Tübingen, Germany. Guest lectureship at the University of Linköping / Norrköping, Sweden, September – October 2008. MA and PhD research in the field of sociology of development. Post-doctoral research in theories of social structure in post-war Germany. Since joining UNAM, focusing on Namibian sociology: structural transitions of the family; sociology of Namibian literature; post-colonial class formation; labour relations in Namibian textile industry. Thematic emphases of publications on the development of Namibian sociology; labour issues; treating of society in post-independence literature
