Ms Margaret Angula attended her primary and secondary education in Oshana Region. She completed her undergraduate at the University of Namibia. Shortly thereafter she was employed as a Junior Researcher at the Multi-Disciplinary Research Centre (MRC). She completed her post-graduate studies at the University of Stellenbosch in 2001. She was employed again at MRC as a Researcher until June 2003 when she transferred to the Department of Geography, History and Environmental Studies. She is currently pursuing her PhD studies through the University of Cape Town. She is also coordinating the Climate Variability and Change Research Programme of the MRC.

Ms Angula has over 10 years research experience in the field of community-based natural resource management, human dimensions of environmental management and fisheries management as well as human dimensions of climate change and variability.
