7. Short Biography (maximum 150 words)	Mr Yule has over fifteen years of experience in library and information related work. He has worked in the education sector in both Namibia and Zimbabwe where he was involved in training and building capacity of library and information personnel. Prior to coming to Namibia, Mr Yule worked as a Resource Centre Manager at the Southern African Research and Documentation Centre (SARDC) based in Harare, where he was involved in managing a state of the art environmental information centre, which was renamed Musokotwane Environment Resource Centre for Southern Africa (IMERCSA). Mr Yule is a former Lecturer at Harare Polytechnic, Zimbabwe as well as a former Regional Librarian for Ministry of Education (Ondangwa East), Namibia. During his stint at SARDC, Mr Yule has worked on a number of projects which were aimed at raising awareness (through information) on the state of the environment in SADC region. His interests are in environmental information management (EIM), information retrieval systems, and database design and management.
