SHORT BIOGRAPHY
(maximum 150 words)
Mrs Mchombu joined the UNAM, Human Rights and Documentation Centre (HRDC) in 1997 as the Documentalist. In 2003 she was promoted to Senior Documentalist to the present.   She has also served as the Centre’s  Acting Director and Coordinator during her time here. Her role here includes managing the Centre’s large human rights collection as well as assist in organising workshops, conferences and seminars on human rights.

Prior to joining the UNAM faculty she served as librarian to Botswana Library Services, Central Statistics Office, Ministry of Finance and UNICEF in Botswana where she helped establish documentation centres. She also served as library assistant at the Westwood International School in Gaborone and Library Officer for Tanzania Library Services.
