    Dr. Shikongo is a Namibian with over thirty years of experience in nursing education in Namibia and over twenty five at the University level. Has been involved in education and training of nursing students for the past 32 years and with post graduate students for over 6 years. Dr Shikongo has offered Diploma courses on Anatomy and Applied Biophysics and Physiology and Biochemistry for two years (1986-1987), Microbiology and Parasitology, General Nursing Science IV(1986-1990). She also offered Sociology for Nurses I and II since 1986 2009 and for the Degree course in 2009. Currently, Dr Shikongo is responsible for research methodology for the Basic Nursing Degree  programme, assists in student follow-ups in clinical situation and acts as an internal moderator in Ethos Of Nursing And Professional Practice. She supervises masters and doctoral students.
