I was born in Iikokola village, Uukwaluudhi district, Omusati region on 3rd January 1976. I attended my grades 1 to 3 at Ongongolwa Primary School from 1985 to 1987. I then continued with my grades 4 to 6 at Keendawala Senior Primary School from 1988 to 1990. The following year, I moved to Windhoek to do my grade 7 at Namutoni S.P. School in 1991. From 1992 to 1996, I did my grades 8 to 12 at Jan Jonker Afrikaner Senior Secondary School. In 1997, I was awarded a bursary fby Petrofund to study B.Sc. (Statistics & Chemistry) at UNAM and graduated in April 2002. From September 2001 to December 2002, I was temporary employed by the Ministry of Education as a Mathematics and Science teacher at Immanuel Shifindi Secondary School. In April 2003, I joined UNAM as a Tutor in Statistics department and in 2005 I became a Staff Development Fellow. In February 2006 I registered for my B.Sc Hons (Statistics) at the University of the Free State in South Africa and graduated in April 2007. In January 2007, I registered for my M.Sc. (Statistics) still at UFS and graduated in April 2008. In February 2008, I was promoted to the position of a lecturer in the department of Statistics. |
