Short Biography

Dr. Erika Maass is a Namibian with more than twenty years of experience at the University of Namibia. Besides her teaching and research responsibilities in the Department of Biological Sciences, she is also the Director of the Teaching and Learning Improvement Centre. Dr. Maass has adjunct research faculty status at Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia, USA with whom she has a  long-standing collaborative research programme on the biology of the holoparasitic genus Hydnora.
