Annatolia was born in Oshakati, northern Namibia and matriculated from Mweshipandeka SSS in 1998. She was awarded a BSc degree by the University of Namibia in 2003 and joined the Chemistry Department as a Laboratory Technician. She went to further her studies at the University of Cape Town, South Africa in 2005. She obtained a BSc (Honours) in Chemistry in 2006 and completed her MSc studies in Synthetic Organometallic Chemistry at the University of Cape Town in 2008. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, shopping and spending time with friends and family.

Annatolias research interests are in the area of synthesis of transition metal complexes and their applications in catalysis.
