FACILITIES
The ILRC is a national resource centre that enhances information access and use throughout Namibia. Comprising the University Library, Interactive Multimedia Services (IMS) and an Instructional Design Unit, it is equipped with the latest information and communication technology (ICT) and offers facilities such as Internet and e-mail, word processing and printing, interactive video-conferencing, multimedia access and use, and training in the use of ICT for information access and database and web page design. Various venues can be booked for group activities such as training, meetings or seminars. A range of facilities may be used on a reservation basis. More information is available through the offices listed below.
After-hours Return Slot
During non-operational hours, users may return borrowed library material through the slot provided to the right of the entrance of the ILRC building. The after-hours return box is emptied daily.
Photocopying
Photocopies are available on the various floors. Users need to buy copy card available at the copy centre at N$28.00 and refill it with units.
Library Auditorium

Two Discussion rooms
Located on the First and Second Floors, these may be used on a reservation basis (each group is given 3 hours to use it. You need to provide a student card when you are booking. Enquiries should be made at the Short Loan Section on the First floor.
Study Carrel
Located on the First and Second Floors. Enquiries should be made at the Short Loan Section, Supervisor, Tel. 2063252/3740
Wireless Room
Located on the Second Floor for Laptop use and for registered students only. Laptop settings can be done by our technicians at the computer help desk on the Ground floor.
Training room
Located on the Second Floor, mainly used to train undergraduates and prost-graduates students, lecturers on how to search OPAC, e-resources and other information literacy classes. External users can also use it through booking. For booking please contact Mr. E. Tjazerua Tel. 206
