RESEARCH AREAS & SELECTED CURRENT PUBLICATIONS RESEARCH AREAS Faculties and Centres at the University of Namibia (UNAM) have identified key focal areas for research that address strategic objectives of the University and those set by the Government. Information on specific research programmes can be found under the respective Faculty and Centre page on this website. Our research approach is to be locally relevant by addressing local research needs but remaining internationally competitive and engaged. UNAM recognizes the value of interdisciplinary, collaborative research as a key to achieve international competitiveness. The ever-changing global environment, human needs and tastes, and other global trends dictate that we constantly review our research programmes in order to address the increasing complexity of global research questions. Research in various fields has been steadily growing in all Faculties, Campuses and Centres at UNAM. |
